Details:  A roughly quart-sized oil can with a handle and a long tapered neck. Reservoir section of can is barrel-shaped with an applied handle.  Dome section has a threaded fill spout with a screw-in plug just above the handle. Long tapered spout extends nearly 20" from center of dome. Slight crook about 2" from tip.  Raised Pennsylvania Railroad insignia, interlocking PRR inside a keystone-shaped frame, is stamped on body of can opposite handle. There is a join in the spout about 7" below the tip.  The entire can appears to have been painted at some point, but this paint shows signs of wear as though from age and use.

These long-necked oil cans were used by engineers to maintain the various areas of a steam locomotive and its cars.  The long spout allowed access to tight areas.
